Its medalist, Max Kennedy, also earned a special exemption to compete in May in the PGA TOUR’s inaugural Grand Strand event, the Myrtle Beach Classic. Boosted by the top-three performances of medalist Max Kennedy (-8) and Cooper Claycomb (T3, -6). the University of Louisville surged to a third-round lead it would not relinquish in route to both team and individual titles Wednesday at the 2024 General Hackler Championship at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club. Kennedy edged Chattanooga’s John Houk (-7) to earn medalist honors – along with a special exemption to compete in the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic.
