The Myrtle Beach Classic isn’t the only new tournament coming to the Grand Strand. The Play Golf Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Championship hosted by the Bryan Bros will be held May 7 at PopStroke, the area’s most popular new attraction.

If it’s been a few years since your last visit, you’ll discover on your next that Pine Lakes Country Club looks better than ever after its recent facelift. PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com’s David Williams made a return trip to “The Granddaddy” to guide us through an aerial tour, highlighting Pine Lakes’ most notable upgrades including brand-new greens and dramatically reconfigured bunkers.

In the final leg of his four-course Ocean Ridge Plantation visit, Charlie’s taking on another par 3 – this one the 17th hole at Lion’s Paw Golf Links in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. Let’s see if “The Big Timer” can tame this “Big Cat” with a birdie!

Breeze Airways has announced an exciting route expansion from Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), just in time for summer. Beginning in June, the airline will launch three new nonstop routes between MYR and Akron-Canton, Ohio (CAK); Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania (AVP); and Westchester County, New York (HPN).

Thanks to Horry County Schools (HCS) and organizers of the Myrtle Beach Classic, students from nine Horry County, South Carolina high schools got an up-close, inside look at how a PGA TOUR event comes together at a host venue, gaining valuable insight from experts in agriculture, hospitality and marketing at Monday’s “PGA TOUR High School Day” at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club.

A full-length, YouTube tournament-style video chronicling “The Q at Myrtle Beach,” which featured eight of golf’s most popular content creators and eight aspiring pros competing for a sponsor exemption into the PGA TOUR’s upcoming Myrtle Beach Classic, is set for release at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 23 on Play Golf Myrtle Beach’s YouTube page.
