David Williams stopped by The Dye Course at Barefoot Resort & Golf to capture some morning moments with his camera lens, while Jim Maggio checked out the latest with the reworked front nine at King’s North at Myrtle Beach National.  What they found were just two of the many examples of the type of scenic welcome mat that’s here to greet you right now when you arrive in “The Golf Capital of the World!”

The Auburn University men’s golf squad made an emphatic statement Tuesday in winning the 2025 General James Hackler Championship Presented by Carolina Wealth Advisors at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, lapping a strong field that included six of the top 50 teams in the NCAA Division I men’s collegiate rankings.

A full field of 342 golfers from 33 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico completed its visit to the Grand Strand this week in its quest for more than $10,000 in prizes offered in the 2025 TRUE Linkswear World Am Q School held at 10 Myrtle Beach-area courses.
